What music genres are in your collection?
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Acoustic, Big Band, Classic Rock, Classical, Country, Dance, Folk, Funk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Orchestra, Pop, Punk Rock, R&B, Rock, Soul, Strings, Swing, World and anything else you can think of!

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes.

Describe your DJ style:
My style depends on the wishes of my Brides & Grooms. I like it to building your Whopper at Burger King….I do it your way!

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
There is never a limit on the number of requests… I encourage them!

What is your usual attire?
A suit or tux is worn to all weddings unless other wise dictated by the Bride and Groom.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
I will provide all of the music requested by the Bride & Groom or their guests.

How many other DJs do you work with?
I am the proprietor and primary DJ who you will only work with however I do have a couple of other competent DJ’s available.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
A minimum of 5 hours is required for wedding receptions

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes a consultation can be scheduled at my office. I love meeting and getting to know Brides & Grooms

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Portuguese, Carbo Verde and Spanish music music is available.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
A DO NOT PLAY list is always welcomed!

Do you bring your own equipment?
I provide all necessary equipment

I have the latest lighting systems such as DMX moving heads,RGBW-UV uplighting and RGBW Wash System. I also have the latest in speaker systems and Mid Deck Controller. All computers are less than 1 year old.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I require between an hour to 2 hours to set up in any normal venue depending on the package chosen which is included. An extra charge may be added if an abnormal amount of stairs are present or the reception is located on an upper floor with no accessible elevator! I do not require a table for set up!

Do you have any extra space requirements?
A space requirement may be needed when the entire lighting package  or extra sound is needed

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?                                    Neither is used period!                                                                                                                  

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes. I will make all necessary announcements,interact and talk between songs AS NEEDED!

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
I have learned many techniques over 28 years of motivating people to dance. Getting everybody dancing can be done by using a “snow ball” dance, inviting guests to join the wedding party or simply getting out on the dance floor myself and showing folks how to do the the latest line dances, etc. Whatever it takes, I WILL get the get the dance floor rocking!

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do not take breaks and do not require a meal. I will only sit down to eat if asked by the Bride & Groom

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
I do not take breaks… PERIOD!

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have DJ Sara Mello which works for me and with me in my company.I also have a wide network of Disc Jockeys available. I network with several professional DJ’s from the Southern Massachusetts  and Rhode Island regions

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Very rarely but there are occasions where 2 events can work

What is your overtime rate?
My overtime rate is negotiated at the time of contract signing.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
All travel is included in package prices unless specified as in the case of extreme travel distances.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?
I require a $250 retainer to reserve a date for your wedding.It is due upon signing of the contract.
