We can’t say enough about Jason!! He is professional, totally on top of everything, and knows how to keep the party going!! Hiring him to be the DJ at my wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made! The wedding was 7-10.21 and everyone was dancing all night! Jason is a full-time DJ for over 20 years (but he isn’t old so don’t worry) This is his CAREER, not something he does on the side, like many “DJ’s” out there. His sister also works for him and she DJ’d a friend’s wedding a couple of years ago. She also is wonderful! You can’t go wrong with the services of Jason Mello Digital DJ. Jason’s price is very reasonable, much less than many you will find on the internet. Jason is the first and ONLY DJ we called. After one phone conversation we knew we did not need to look any further. He is great at getting to “know” his client and what you want and need from him. He is easy to work with, very accommodating and an all around great guy! He knows how to “read the crowd” and when to amp things up. He has state of the art equipment and also can provide lighting for your event. I have only great things to say about Jason. He is enthusiastic, engaging and upbeat without going overboard.HIRE Jason!! you will not regret it! If you don’t hire him…well your event will not be as great as it could be. Being out of State I was worried about finding vendors who would be able to provide great service without being able to meet in person. Jason made time for us when we were in town to do a walk-through of our venue and gave us some great advice. Jason was a breath of fresh air on our big day! He made sure that the ceremony and reception were flawless all while providing a fun atmosphere. The work he did with uplighting around our entire venue was phenomenal. We had a local artist who was performing as well and Jason was more than happy to help him with setup and allowing him to use his equipment so there wasn’t two sets. We couldn’t have found a better person to help pull our day together. Honestly Jason basically ran the show since our day of coordinator was a moron. We had guests from all over the country and they all loved how Jason interacted with them (& of course his accent )! I don’t know where to begin. Jason was absolutely AMAZING! From the first time we met him we all knew right away that he was the going to be our DJ for our wedding. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” and he really captured our vision by playing what he called “Ragtime” music during our cocktail hour to set the mood for a vintage/Gatsby wedding. My family is 100% Portuguese and a lot of them came from the islands to attend our wedding and he played all of our favorite Portuguese/Brazilian music. Jason is so professional, knowledgeable, personable and fun. He really is able to capture what his customer wants and is excellent at reading the crowd. No one was sitting down!
